Accessibility

Our goal

Hawaii Market Expo aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We check new and updated pages for color contrast, keyboard use, readable structure, text alternatives for images, and clearly labeled forms.

What we do

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
• Text meets WCAG contrast minimums, and links in text are underlined.
• Images have text descriptions, and forms have visible labels and plain-language error messages.
• The moving Instagram gallery has a pause button and stays still if your device is set to reduce motion.

Known limits

Some content comes from other companies, including our Instagram feed, the interactive floor plan from ExpoFP, and PDF forms such as the show contract and the I.C.S. furnishing order form. These may not be fully accessible. If you have trouble with any of them, contact us and we’ll provide the information another way, such as an accessible document, large print, or help by phone or email.

At the show

If you need an accommodation to attend a show, such as help with check-in, let us know before the show and we’ll do our best to help. Service animals are welcome.
